Canopy Theory

Gai Tian Shuo is a first-person open-world puzzle adventure game, through the deconstruction of traditional cultural elements such as Gai Tian Shuo, the Classic of Mountains and Seas, ancient mythology, Sanxingdui, etc., to recreate a glorious ancient bronze civilization. This ancient civilization was able to create people to shoot the sun, call for wind and rain, and was regarded as a god by humans, but it has completely disappeared in a long time, and the traces of existence have also been covered and destroyed by human ancestors, leaving only a small number of relics.
In the game, the center of the world is a pillar that stands above the sky, and the umbrella-shaped canopy supports the sky. The world is divided into nine large states, held up by nine bronze tripods, floating around the pillars of heaven like a planet, and the player takes on the role of an adventurer who explores Kyushu in a rudimentary flying machine.
The player doesn’t have any quests, and curiosity is his only driving force. Through the exploration of the ruins, he understands why the “Protoss” is powerful and why it has died, what role the distant ancestors of mankind played in it, the true face of myths and legends, the role of the Tianzhu Tiangai and Jiuding, and how the world was born and operated.
